Wordful Wednesday hosted by Angie

Hey! Welcome! I figured that it's time for everyone to meet Leon. I think the rest of my family has been pretty well covered, but Leon is still only whatever prince or knight in shining armor you have conjured in your imagination.

Leon, dancing with our oldest, Asia, at our wedding in 1996.  And yes, that is me in the picture in the background.

At the wedding of a childhood friend of mine in Jasper, Alberta, in about 2000.

We made a holiday out of the wedding trip. This is also in Jasper.
Leon performing for the Gibbons Fire Department ladies night! It was a little weird how REALLY good he was at bringing out his feminine side.

Leon, being a goofball (2003-ish). But he looks so natural, doesn't he?

Leon. A real firefighter now. This picture was from his volunteer years in 2004.

For those of you who haven't been faithfully reading my delightful stories (shame on you), Leon is my husband of too long.
He's the one who, since reading my blog and learning that I am insane about the toilet paper roll being just so, keeps changing it.
He's the one who will change my facebook status, if I am foolish enough to leave it on, to things like "Rhonda thinks she is a male magnet!" or "Rhonda thinks she's got it all goin' on!" or "Rhonda thinks Leon is the best husband EVER!".
He's the one who can be the best gay guy on the entire planet, and still turn it all on in his jeans and cowboy boots.
Yup. That's him.
My prince. My knight in shining armor.
My schmuck.

For more on Wordful Wednesday, go and visit Angie at 7 Clown Circus! She'd just love that!

So handsome!!! Although I must say in the picture where you say He is bringing out his feminine side...that's not what it looks like he is pulling out of his pants....LEON!
I love the picture overlooking the falls...where is that? It's beautiful!

Seems like a fun guy! I love people who are spontaneous and can make other people laugh. And he seems to do it well!

so nice - do you know what schmuck means? I don't think hubbie would like to be called that?

LOVED meeting Leon. Loved it. I love that he pays attention to how you want the TP, and that he writes hilarious things on facebook under you and I love that he's your prince, and your schmuck.

Hmmm, now I'm curious. I'll have to go and discover the true meaning for schmuck. I always used to use dork too, until my four year old pointd out that a dork is in fact a whale penis.

Yeah, he's fun, and he's a bit of a shit.

And yes, I will indeed die for this post.

Just FYI. lol

According to the North American dictionary:
schmuck – A highly offensive term that deliberately insults somebody’s personal worth (slang insult).

Well, yeah, sometimes he still a schmuck. His personal worth depends entirely on how many spiders he has killed, jars he has opened, and whether or not he is keeping me in the lifestyle I have become accustomed to, right?

lol Just kidding.

Sort of.

Awww. You left out "world's best son-in-law!!" And you have NOT been married to him for too long. In fact, as my own 40th anniversary comes nearer, I can say truthfully that you have not been married to Leon for near long enough. Your suffering has hardly begun (insert maniacal laughter here)!!! So there. Great post. I love this guy. And I hope he knows it. (He won't kill you, but he might just hurt you badly!)

I like Leon. I like when you look things up in the dictionary for me too. I was thinking as I was reading...dang now I have to go find the dictionary. I need to go wash my mouth out with soap now. I have called my kids a dork everyday of their short little lives. tisk tisk.

I STINK.

Yes, I got it, but it came in the middle of jury duty! SO I haven't been "with it" enough to do much. I am SO SORRY.

THANK YOU for sending it. Looks fascinating! I really appreciate it.

I am going to do my Pay It Forward post probably Friday. It's on my long list of "things to blog".
Again, THANKS!!!!

What a very fun post and a fun guy! My husband can be a goofball too - it is what annoys me about him and is what I love most about him all in one!

I am cracking up, the post is funny, the pictures are sweet, except for the "female" one, that's disturbing, lol. The comments are killin me too, I say dork all the time, sometimes I use the proper term, dorkus. Leon is the kidnapper, the one who took you out by the dump on your first date?
