Phriday Photo Phiesta!

George, as he has requested to be called for this post, was dropping off our middle daughter at school on Obama's inauguration day. She was so excited!!! She said in social studies they were going to watch Obama get assassinated!!  So George choked out an "Oh Lordy! Cassie! He's not getting assassinated! He's getting inoculated!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, my family. We're a swift bunch. George assures me he was only kidding, but ... I don't know about that.

Anyway, on to my picture for today.  George found this old picture of himself. We did the Body For Life challenge in about 2001. After those 12 weeks, we were both looking pretty good. Obviously I was not quite as good, because there is no way in H*E* double hockey sticks I'm putting that one out there.

He told me he found the courage to use this as his Facebook profile picture, as incentive to try to get back to this.

You are wondering about his wife's encouraging and loving comments, aren't you?

I laughed my fool head off and said "You chose a picture of you in your MAN PANTIES to put on FACEBOOK? HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

I'm so proud.

Oh, and FYI, I will be hosting a giveaway on my blog for my friend's quilting company! Matt & Bradie are making a very special camera strap just for one of my lucky readers! Aren't they awesome?? Stay tuned....

Wow....look what he does with his hanes!!
Is the body challenge difficult...it must be and I can barley handle Pilates!!!
Good for George!

Okay ...I meant barely...not barley! Barley doesn't really make sense!

The first time I looked at this photo, I thought it was a face stuck on the body of a doll. The fact that he is a bit on the oily side threw me off. He looks good! You should post your after photo from the challenge, only to be fair. :)

Hahaha. Even when they look this good, we can't help but laugh at them, right? When my husband started working out a lot, I would catch him "posing" in front of mirrors EVERYWHERE! This pic reminded me of that. Thanks!

OMG three belly laughs in one post! That's just so cool. I owe ya one. Assassinated/innoculated. That's just funnier than all get out. Leon's pic didn't make me laugh, but the man panties sure did. Oh this is awesome. All of it.

Rhonda I want to see the before and after pics. Because it might inspire me to something similar, um without all those muscles though.

Tell George he looks a little oily but hot in this pic and we understand him wanting to use it as his profile pic although he may get a lot of ribbing from people!

I am just more concerned about his split personality, lol!! George, Leon I cannot keep up.

Innoculate, still laughing!!!

OMG...tell me he competed in body building because if he didn't he wasted a lot of work!!

I thought it was a joke at first until I looked closer and he's holding your newspaper! (unless you photo shopped it!)

We want to see yours!

Your daughter is hilarious!

That is too funny...your daughter and George are pretty funny! George did that in 12 weeks? How? He probably wasn't starting from where I am tee hee. I think I would need 12 months.

Hmm. You just reminded me that we have this very same book. I think my husband and I will do this...for the first time.

Excellent photo. I am totally impressed.

He is so shiny, you could even say he glows! I certainly wouldn't kick him out of bed but there is a good chance he would leave my bed looking like a super-sized Persian Cat because all the loose cat fur in the house would stick to him. Oh my gosh, he could be like my own personal swiffer!

P.S. My seven year old said the same thing and David said he was getting inebriated, not assasinated!

Happy Fx4 and thanks for joining in again!

;)
