Thursday's Homework Assignment

The Prompts:

1.) Tell us about a memorable blind date.

2.) Other than the birth of a child or your wedding, write about a joyous moment.
3.) Write about one of the most difficult decisions you have made in your life.

(creativewritingprompts.com)

4.) Share the best picture you took last month and explain why it's your favorite.

Okay, now 1, 2 and 4 are out. So that leaves me with number 3.

How completely sad and pathetic is it that I couldn't think of a single thing? There is no event in my life that I can look back and think, Wow! THAT was awesome!

So, what Leon and I came up with is that it brings me joy to make people laugh.

So, essentially, I win out. Because there are joyous occurrences almost daily for me. I just got lucky I think, that I love to make people laugh, and can occasionally be funny! It's not like soccer, that I love to play, but don't do it very well, you know?

How totally lucky am I???

Go and see Mama Kat for more!

I think next to being a good listener, being funny is the best quality someone can have. I try and be funny and I think most of the time I succeed. Although sometimes I think I am hilarious and my kids just look at me like...."No! not funny!" oh well, maybe they just need to mature. lol

Have a great day!

You are indeed funny...as opposed to laughing at YOU!

Oh I love your blogging buddies, Rhonda. They're all laughing with you. But I'm your mama, so I reserve the right to laugh AT you. Ahhahaha! No. Seriously. You are my go-to girl when I need a lift. And I love that you're raising your girls to be funny too. Come to think of it, your whole family makes me laugh, even the dog! Thanks for that.

I agree I think its because you have lots of good days I love your sense of humour and I 'get it'. Not often you can find people you really identify with and can laugh with. You bring the blog world lots of smiles and good times too. Thanks Rhonda!!

Oh and I love what your mother said, what a wonderful comment!!
