Friday Foto Fiesta!

Thanks for stopping by for Fx4 hosted by Candid Carrie!

Today is a short one, because technically I'm not even here!  I am spending Thursday and Friday going insane at Junior High band camp (Yes, American Pie comes to mind, does it not?) with around 100 kids.

I'm sure I'll come home with lots of "And then, in band camp..." stories that will be blog-worthy.

However, for now I have a few pictures to show you and then you can be on your way.

Some of you may have noticed that my mom (aka Why-Not) is a regular commenter. However, you have yet to meet her.

Mom (left) with her sister Judy. But that would be Auntie Judy to the rest of us, right?

Mom (left) and Auntie Judy again.

My mom's the beauty with her beehive hairdo. Sort of resembles my 1964 shot on Wednesday's post!

Mom's going to have to fill in the blanks with the years!

Renewing their vows for their 25th in 1994.

Mom with her best friend Rebecca in 2008.

Me and mom on my wedding day in 1996.

So, that's my mom!
Now feel free to comment all you like about her.  She reads them all!

Aaawww! How sweet is this and what a lovely surprise!! It's such fun to look back. And to everyone who sees this today, I can only tell you that one of my life's great blessings is this beautiful daughter of mine, my best friend, my shining light. I'm so glad you all come to visit her. Thanks Babe. I love you more than you could ever know!

Oh yeah, regarding the years, that shot with the beehive and the one with the black dress and beehive, those were in late 66 or early 67 when I was 15 years old. Fun thing is that that gold lamé dress with the black lace over top is still in the closet downstairs and the kids use it to play dress-up!

What a sweet comment from your mom!!

Love the pictures-now were you a model? I'm not sucking up by the way.

You're so nice and tall and beautiful! At least it appears that you're tall in pictures and I too love the bee-hive!

I thought the same thing! Either you are extremely short and your mom extremely tall or you are sitting down. Beautiful girls!

OMG! That is so funny! I didn't even realize that, Jill!

So that's what it would look like if I was short...

Dear Mother of Life with Rhonda,

If I added a beehive hairdo would I look fifteen and thin? I need to know soon because I am going to be a mother of the groom in June and it is never to early to start consideing options other than weight reduction surgery and botox.

Thank you.
