I'm a bit of a loser. But a winner all the same! I got TWO awards yesterday! I will display my loot and award others on Monday!
My photos today are of my middle daughter, whom I think has gotten the short end of the memory stick! You've all seen plenty of my little one and lots of my eldest freak of nature. Now to show you Cassie, my gentle spirit.
She got her hair cut short and dyed pink for the "St. Valentine's Day Hair Massacre". We donated her beautiful blond locks to kids with cancer.
Now her shiny hair is coming back. She can almost do a pony tail. She looks like a girl again!!! Wahooooo!
Thanks for coming over! Stop in again sometime, won't you?

I love a girl who isn't afraid to alter her appearance for a greater good. And how brave at her age!!! You go Girl:-)
What a great kid you have. She is a beautiful young lady and you have very right to be proud of her.

Unbelievable!! I'm so proud of her (I know you are too!) for doing something that most girls....heck most women won't do. I have to say that final picture though, she's BEAUTIFUL!!

I agree with everyone thats commented, she has a kind and giving spirit! Tell her we all appreciate, and admire what she's done!
Beautiful girl inside and out!:)
What a wonderful daughter you have!!! I think it's great that she did that! I would never have the nerve to shave my head!
What a sweet daughter you have. And she looks great with pink or blonde hair!
Your daughter is amazing for cutting all her hair off and I'm gald it's coming back.
Your daughter ROCKS!!!!
wow...hard to believe a girl who is so pretty would want to cut it all off! i'm so glad she has a tender heart...she will be blessed...and she obviously has been with more beautiful curly locks! way to go middle girl!
That is quite possibly the most wonderful picture I have ever seen! What a beauiful daughter that you have... to shave her head for such a cause! INSPIRING!
(I am sitting her in tears because one of my close friends has a baby with cancer and it just amazes me all people do to help)
God bless your daughter (and family)
ps Found you through carrie
She's gorgeous with and w/o hair. I've wanted to do this but never could take that final whack of the scissors. Your daughter is an angel sent from above. Some lucky person will love her hair more than she'll ever know. Thanks for sharing such an inspirational picture.
So glad she decided to let her hair grow back. The GI Jane look does nothing for anyone.
I love the Locks of love program......my daughter has donated several times and I have been so proud!
p.s. Score one for mom for spotlighting the middle child! Bravo!
I can't believe you let her shave her head and go all Sinade. WOW.
Wow. She has a huge heart and guts. I don't know many people, male or female that would care more about helping other people than vanity, Rock on Sister!
That's impressive. Truly. She's beautiful.
I like your new header too!
What an amazing girl. I can't think of any teenager that would allow her hair to be bic'd. Even for a great cause. She's gorgeouS!
What a nice kid! It's nice to know that there are kids like your daughter in this world.
She's beautiful!!
Awwww. That's my beautiful middle girl! How lovely to spotlight the child who is so often lost between her flamboyant big sister and her too-cute little sister. You go, girl!
hi its Cassie the middle one and thank you all for your kind words bye
What a cute gal! And some Classic pixes! Congrats, BTW, on the awards!
I like her better with the blond hair. What an amazing young lady to donate that gorgeous hair to cancer patients!!
What a nice thing for her to do! You must be so proud. I like the blonde better too.....she's a beautiful girl!!!
The reason you do the bright pink is so that everyone knows your plan. You "go pink" about a month or so before you shave it.
I think, quite possibly, it's so you can't change your mind, because now everyone knows! lol
Wow...you're doing great mom to raise a daughter with SUCH A HUGE HEART!
She is completely beautiful inside and out, pink hair, no hair, blonde hair...very good! :)
That is awesome of her! I love the pink, btw!
she looks amazing in all the shots.. how did she get lips like that??
