Asia's Room

Asia's room.

Leon hates it.

He thinks it's stupid.

I think it's a kid's room.

Perfectly fit for an oddball.

Which means it will suit Asia to a "T".

The colours I am using on the yellow base (which was day 1):  (Help me pick one of these blues, wouldja?)

Day Two: Polka Dots are added

Beautiful, inspiring verse is lovingly applied.  :)
Day Three: The next colour of polka dots are added
Yes, I see the space there, but no worries, a couple of blue ones to fill it in.

Now there is still much work to be done.  One more colour to add. Baseboards, closet door and bedroom door to be painted, blinds to be purchased and put up, a vallance to be found.  You get my drift.

But instead of hanging out in the garage painting baseboards, here I sit drowning my wounded pride in a beer.  Or two. On a work night. This is not normal for me.  Trust me.  But it's okay to go to work on your last day with a bit of a beer headache, right?

The things that I have found while cleaning and moving furniture for the exterminator on Monday has left me feeling really gross and itchy all over.  Did I mention gross and itchy?

I was hoping to walk (see previous paragraph) to the store for some makings for a fruit pizza to take to work tomorrow for my last day potluck, however, I look like hell. Seriously.  Drinking and working and sweating... Lordy.  I'm a sight, my friends.

You'd best leave me to wallow.  Head back over to Carrie and see if someone has something fun!

But first, do you hate the room too?  Don't be honest, because I just can't take it.  Tell me you love it and I will come right on over and follow you.  No strings attached.

I like it and the lime green is my favorite. I agree with you, it's a kid's room. You can get away with a lot more in a kid's room. At least that's what I tell myself.

DEFINITELY Tropical Splash. And I absolutely love it. My daughter would think I was the coolest Mom on Earth if I did her room that way. It's beautiful!

You are doing such a good job I'm sure you don't really need anyones opinion but you asked you shall receive. I would love to see the rest of the room, but I would choose either Tropical Splash or the darkest one. What I can see I love it!!! I feel your pain my MAN! of 27 years! I can't tell you how many times he did not like what I was doing, that wont look good, thats a stupid idea blah, blah, blah. I have just come to relize that he does not have vision.
Me I love everything to coordinate so I always have made the valances from sheets that match the bedding. Can't wait to see the finished job.

Oh I love it. And I know Asia. She's a bit of an oddball. But the room is just trendy, cool, different, quirky - suits her right down to her dark blue toenails! Go with Tropical Splash, just cuz the name is great.

God you did that yourself, how did you get the circles so perfect? I really do like it and I think its perfect for a teenager's room. I really like that quote too and I want one of those - where did you get it? I like wipeout best.

Tell Leon he should hate it - its great for a teenage girl's room and he isnt a teenage girl. You are a great Mom Rhonda - truly!!

Nice combination of colors you have got here. i prefer blue and red. But, black with some gradation sometimes appears great as well. Thanks. Toddler Crafts Susan
