Holding Fast

Some of you may remember a little while ago I was sent a book from Jill. The idea was to read the book, sign the front and then forward it on. Unfortunately the book came to me while I was just starting another book. The Twilight series, in fact. (An no. I haven't yet started the fourth one, so don't tell me anything!)

Oh. My. Stars.

If you haven't read Jill's version of what happened, follow the links:

Holding Fast
The Second Part Of My Story
Part Three Of My Version

Yeah, they sucked me in so fast, I just needed to read the book.

Ronda has already begged, pleaded and bribed for second shot at the book. If you want this to come to you, you have to first be willing to read it in a fairly timely fashion, lest it be forgotten. Second, you will be okay with writing your name and location in the book. And third, you have to be willing to pay the postage to send it to the next person.

My hope is that it will one day make it's way back to Jill, and perhaps Karen, so they can't see how far it has travelled.

There is a lot of love in this story just itching to spread it's way through your heart. Trust me on this.

You can either leave me a comment stating that you would like to have a chance at this book, or just hop on over to Ronda's blog and let her know.

Oh, and don't forget to head over to Candid Carrie and tell her how jealous you are that she got to make out with a rock star!!

G'day from an Aussie who has spent a lot of time photographing your beautiful country.

Edmonton is one place I haven't been - yet, but Muskoka features in the title of my forthcoming novel.

I would love to read this book and pass it on. I just read 2 books about people lost in the wilderness, with tragic endings. Such sad stories!

I´m not sure someone would want to send this to Paraguay, but I would love to read it. I love true story´s and this one looks like it will be a tear jerker....

I would love to read it and pass it! What a fun way to see how far a book can go. I have to tell you I'm not looking forward to the tears that will inevitably come along with it either.

I totally want to read it.

I mean, I will never forget, hoping and praying that they would be found alive. Mt Hood seems like it's next door to us although we live near Seattle the story still hit home.

What a wonderful idea. I'd love to join!

The book sounds wonderful. It deserves to travel the world. Paraguay or Australia sound like great starting point. How is Flat Stanley doing in his travels?

I actually have not read the book yet. (sorry jill) I will read it and send it on, if you don't have anyone else!

Hi ... I love that you took pictures of the front and the back of the book!

I passed stuff around once and shared it with my friends but it was clothes and they came backed stained.

This is so much more cool!

;)

Thanks for participating again (and again and again)

Carrie

Wow. I got sucked into Jill's blog. Thanks for sharing that. I don't know if I can handle reading about a tragedy right now, but it looks like a really good book.

I'd LOVE to read this book. In fact, I saw the interview on GMA with Diane Sawyer that Jill posts about. I remember the Mt. Hood tragedy very well, and would love to read about it from another persepective. Pick Moi!
