Thanks for joining me today on this delightful Fiesta Friday Fotos and I think Fabulous is one of the words, and Fenomenal, and sometimes Freaky. You should probably head over to Carrie's to clarify that.
I have a few pictures today, but it is just a short read.
I would like to introduce you to my Asia and our friend's Christopher. These two have been friends for a long time. In fact, Asia is four months Christopher's senior and was his first hospital visitor after he was born. I can't even begin to tell you what these two, and their friendship, do to my heart.
Asia's first birthday party. Two little best friends covered in cake.
At my 23rd birthday. They were 2 here.
Fast forward a million years. They are still best friends.
They even shop together! And laugh when they try on silly hats and when Christopher tries on "skinnies"!
And they are pretty much crazy together.
And so comfortable together. The moms are hoping they don't end up trying to have a "relationship" (at least not yet, while they're young) and lose the friendship along the way. That would truly suck.
Having fun at camp together.
He is such a good, nice, respectful young man. Some girl is going to be very lucky one day.
Dressing up for the "Hairspray Party" at church.
I wish I could find more of the 'in between' pictures, but it's late, and I'm knackered! I can tell you, though, that they have seen almost every milestone through together...
And that means something.
Thanks for coming to my place. Now off you go to Carrie's for more!

I love this post! My best friend and I have two sons very close in age, and then 2 daughters very close in age. The boys are 15 and the girls are almost 13, and they're still all really good friends, and that just thrills us. It's such a special bond.
How awesome that they can be such goof friends to eachother. You did some good raising there mom!
Have a great day!
Sorry, i meant GOOD not goof...lol
My oldest had a girl that he and she were just buddies...I had hoped that might but God had better plans for my son! She has not married and her Mom...would just love it if she found someone!
Asia..is beautiful...I love that they have each other for friends!!!
Now...if I only had a social life!
That is so cool...they've been together forever...it wouldn't be that too awful if later on down the road they did have a "relationship" They do have history together...just a thought! :)
Part of the reason I feel the divorce rate is as high as it is these days, and that includes my own, is that we don't really know who we are marrying anymore. Used to be we spent our whole lives in one community, and by the time we married someone, we knew them, their family, all their embarrassing details, the trouble they caused as kids, etc... I knew my ex for less than one year before we were sharing a bed and ended up expecting. Oh if I could have a do over (but keep my kids), wait that is what I do have!! A friend put it best to me (sorry about the crassness and I don't mean this for your kids), but if you can't sleep with your friends, who can you sleep with, strangers??
Yes, you are all right. I suppose I should clarify. I just mean that I hope they don't do anything stupid at this age to screw up their friendship. Two reasons:
First, we are still friends with Christopher's parents and that would be awkward all around.
Second, this is just a stupid age. lol
I love the picture of them in the tub! I forgot about that. Christopher is very lucky that he has Asia and I hope they are friends forever! She helps him to be a bit more outgoing and I think that he sometimes helps to "reign" her in! They sure are a good looking couple though!
Sounds like they already do have a relationship together...the kind that matters the most. Wouldn't it be nice if they did end up together?
These pix and this post just make me cry. God, I love these two kids so much it makes my heart hurt. I hope they enjoy a long, happy lifetime together, as friends, spouses, neighbours, colleagues, whatever. As long as it's together.
Wow--how great to have that friendship! They are very lucky!!
This is such a cute & swet post. What a fantastic friendship and what a wonderful way you have documented it.
Such a great post and great pictures. I bet they have an amazing relationship that will continue. Stopping in from Candid Carrie--TFS!
Oh my gosh. THey are so cute. So cute. I love that they are still great friends.
My daughter had a friend like that, but he was her second cousin, so that made it easier. It didn´t enter their mind to start a "relationship", so that was great. They still keep in touch.
I loved the pictures!
Thanks for sharing!
This is awesome!!!! They do look very cute together.....so go that they are still such good friends after all these years!
That is priceless. I hope they remain friends forever!!!!
That doesn't happen every day ! I think that is wonderful!!
