The Prompts:
1.) Describe your latest obsession.
2.) Ask a loved one to use 6 descriptive words to describe you and report your findings. How well do they know you?
3.) Who was your first bloggy friend? How did you find each other? Do you still correspond?
4.) Tell us about your pet! If you have a weird infatuation with your dog or cat we want to hear about it (or if they just plain drive you crazy)...but please don't compare them to children. It's just not the same.
#4! Here we go.
I do a really freaky thing with my dog. (Oh, come on, people. Really?)
When Leon (who has decided that I can go back to calling him Leon on my blog, but be warned that if he returns to being George every now and then, it's probably because I'm in trouble for something...) leaves for work, or is on a night shift, my beautiful, great big, 190 pound English Mastiff, Ringo, likes to sleep in the bed with me.
I know, it doesn't sound much like a quirky infatuation thingy, does it?
Well, here's the kicker.
He likes to spoon.
His back to my front.
People get really creeped out when I say that. But lots of people snuggle with their pet, right? They just technically don't have people-sized pets who spoon.
Their loss.
Another quirk, you beg.
Okay, here's another. Ringo likes to eat off forks.
He has amazing table manners. He just can't help it if he leaves a slobber trail.
Everywhere.
This is how he like to wait while we have supper.
He's not spoiled. Not even a little bit.
HA!
And yes. That is a pink sock on my table leg. lol
Tune in Monday, when I will delight you with option number two. I will get some words from a few people. Good and bad.
Oi!

My neice just got one of those beautiful puppies for Christmas! He is so beautiful...I love Ringo!
What Mr.Linky thing...where?
I am looking right at it aren't I?
That's a beautiful dog! and I'm not even going to ask why you have a pink sock on the leg of your table... lol
He is one hefty dog obsession! ;) He is pretty cute though...and hey, you could turn the furnace down with all the warmth he provides!
yep - so sorry - grossed out over here - especially since I see my dog licking her butt all the time
Hey Girly...remember me? I have been on a mandatory sabatical lol.
Your Ringo reminds me of my Clyde, but Clyde only weighed 140 lbs. If you ever need to leave Ringo with someone I am volunteering. I love him!
Aw Ringo. My only grand-boy. All these girls. It's a good thing my grand-dogger is a boy. Even your brothers' cats are girls. I love my girls. And I love this big old slobbering lovable allergy-inducing lump of a dog!!!
You made me laugh out loud. The visual of you spooning with you your dog...it's just too much. **smile**
LOL! Both of my dogs sleep with us. Sometimes I wake up and I find the Chihuahua laying in between us (King sized bed) with her head on a pillow and the covers pulled just up under her armpits. It is so funny.
not really sure about spooning with a dog but then again, it would be a way to keep really really warm and cozy on a cold winter's morning.
Ringo has such good manners!
Oh, Man! I would have given anything to have your dog about 2 months ago! My hubby was gone (moving into our new home) for two weeks. I didn't sleep well the whole time he was gone. I am sure that if I had Ringo there with me, I would have slept like a "puppy"!
Cute Post!
Oh my, Ringo IS people sized!
You reminded me of my boy. Rolly, the Australian Terrier. He used to sleep on our bed all the time. When Hubby would get up, he'd just take his side. When we got our girl, hubby stopped letting them sleep on our bed. It was only a double then and was a bit too cosy. I miss my boy.
Your Mom cracks me up...again...I call my children's dogs the grand doggies and they love me...I am not kdding ...these dogs love me almost as much as my grand babies. I love doggie sitting for them! Ringo is so cute!
I can't say I've ever had a spooning dog. Mine just likes to put her head in my lap and make moon eyes at me.
Ringo is so cute. My hubby and I have a Golden mix named Josie and 3 cats. Josie loves for you to sit on the ground and hug her. She's about 50 pounds and trys to get in our laps to be held like when she was a puppy. The cats sleep with us and I snuggle with them.
Thanks for sharing.
What a cutie!! I just wanna go to go tackle him!
